From first launch to your first search
Just the essentials: build a local library, then search by image, person, or crop.
Start with the app
Sign in the first time you open the app. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial.
Choose macOS or Windows on the home page.
macOS supports Apple Silicon. Windows supports Windows 10 and 11 (x64).
Use your email address to open the app.
Make your images searchable
Select a local image folder and build its index. Your images stay where they are; no copying or reorganization needed.
Choose a local folder you want to search.
Choose an enabled image search model and confirm folder sync options.
Once complete, you can search with images from the library.
Find images that look alike
Choose any image as a query. Lavusion finds visually similar results in your current library or selected folders.
Select an image in the app or drag one in from your computer.
Search the whole library or limit results to a folder or group.
Results are ranked by similarity. Open, filter, or add them to a group.
Find the same person across your photos
Choose a photo with faces, select one detected face, and search for visually similar photos in your local library.
Choose a query image with clearly visible faces.
If the image contains multiple people, choose one face to continue.
See related images of that face from your library.
Search full images from a small crop
When you care about a product, person, pattern, or detail in an image, select just that area to search.
Open an image and choose the crop search tool.
Keep only the subject or pattern you want to find.
Lavusion matches the selected crop to full images and related scenes.
Keep results organized as you search
Add search results to an existing group or create a new one without leaving your workflow.
Choose one result or select several at once.
Choose an existing group or create a new one.
Groups do not move your original files.
Your library and models stay on your device
Image indexing, model inference, and search run locally. The app needs internet access only for account and license features—not to upload your library.
