Your library stays on your device

1. Local image processing

Lavusion Image Search is a local image search application. Image indexing, visual similarity search, face search, and crop search run primarily on your device.

• Your original images are not uploaded to our servers when you index or search them.
• Local index data, such as image embeddings and face features, stays on your device by default.
• Groups, search scopes, and local library paths are stored primarily on your device.

2. Account and license information

To provide sign-in, trials, subscriptions, and device authorization, we may process the account information needed for these services, such as:

• Email address and account identifier.
• Trial status, subscription plan, license status, and expiration date.
• Device identifiers or activation records used for software licensing.

We use this information to verify accounts, confirm access, prevent license abuse, and provide support.

3. Payment and order information

Payments for subscriptions may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We may retain information needed to fulfill an order, such as the order number, plan, amount, payment status, and transaction time.

4. Logs and diagnostics

The app may create local logs to help diagnose crashes, model loading failures, indexing errors, and similar issues. These logs are not automatically uploaded with your library content. We receive them only if you choose to send them or the app clearly asks for your consent.

If you contact support and share logs, we use them only to investigate and resolve the reported issue.

5. Third-party services

We may use third-party infrastructure and services for the website, accounts, licensing, payments, and email. These providers receive only the data needed to perform their services.

• Payment providers process orders and confirm payments.
• Email providers send account, verification, and service messages.
• Hosting and network providers deliver the website, APIs, and licensing services.

Third parties handle relevant data under their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention

You control your local library, indexes, and groups. If you delete the app, a local index, or the relevant data, we cannot restore that local content.

Account, order, and license records are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill transactions, provide support, and meet legal or financial obligations.

7. Your rights

You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information we hold. Some records may need to be retained for order, financial, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

You can delete your local library index, groups, and app data at any time; these remain under your control.

8. Policy updates

We may update this policy when product features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. We will communicate material changes through the website, in-app notices, or other reasonable means.
